tho i am sort of forced into stringgs,i love TE:D
i shall type out mua story
ONCE UPON A TIME,IN A FARAWAY LAND...AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER
i learn chinese dance since i was 3 which is about 10 years already.
i tried to get into NY thru chinese dance last time...which obviosly i failed to do so.i stop learning chinese dance for quite awhile already...since my grade 8 examination which took place last year december...the day we got back our PSLE result...suey!i also stopped for about another half a year between P5 and P6.okay..that is not the main point.
i am sort of forced to do everything i do, learnt and whatever...even coming to NY. my brother was in HCI and my sister is in NY...so it seemed that i am/will/supposed to/must come to NY.the pressure was like OMG!okay...examples of stuff i am forced to do:take third lang,learn violin,join NYSE.
let's talk about it one by one
-third lang-
my sister takes japanese for third language for sec 1 and 2. she cannot continue because of AEP. at first, my mother asked me whether i want to pick up a new language and i replied NO straightaway.she asked me why, i say i don't like it and it is optional not a must. then she started to give me a lot of reasons like since i have the opportunity, why don't i learn it?there's no harm trying something new. your sister is as busy as you and she can take jap and cope with her studies why cant you?(hey! c'mon. we are two different person with totally different characteristics and personalities) then she asked me again...can i say no? maybe i can...but to stop her from babbling on and on again...the only thing i can say is...YES

my sister got her piano grade 7 this year and my brother got his violin grade 8 when he was(i think)sec 1.he used to learn piano and stop when his violin was around grade 5. i tried piano for the first half of p5.i suck.so my mother wanted e to try other instruments.i told her i don't want to. i was rather busy then with a lot of cca, activities ,school work and all. then she started using my siblings as examples again...this time i didn't say yes...i just nodded my head. i think she saw me hesitate, so on my brother's next violin lesson, she asked the teacher straight away. so when he said that he can teach me...i got basically no way to turn back.

maybe it is my fault...i've always wanted to join chinese dance and even expect myself to join chinese dance if i get into NY or maybe confirmed that i will join chinese dance. so when my mother told me to join strings i was rather puzzled. i assumed that she will agree to me joining chinese dance. so we talked to each other for one whole night just discussing(or forcing) about what CCA i should join. of course, i mouth is not as powerful as hers, i surrendered.
i hated violin....so much that i feel like throwing it out of the window sometimes when i practice.i hate people forcing me to do stuff that i don't want to. especially when it is not compulsory. she made it seemed as tho it is...
maybe it is becoz of my da sao, maybe becoz of you guys, maybe becoz i got no choice...i started to love STRINGGS:D i hated it that i am unable to join the day camp during the june holidays. TE is nice:D maybe becoz it is compared to ME...it is so much better, more fun and all:D
okay i am crapping in the post...this is a rather long winded one...
